C9300L-48T-4X-M Description
The C9300L-48T-4X-M is a Cisco Catalyst 9300L-M fixed-uplink stackable access switch for branch and campus closets managed from the Cisco Meraki Dashboard. The switch has 48 10/100/1000 Mbps data ports, four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks and 176 Gbps of switching capacity on a 350W AC supply with no PoE. Physical stacking uses the C9300L-STAK-KIT2-M kit, and the uplinks are fixed rather than modular.

Key Features
The Catalyst 9300L-M family is managed from the Meraki Dashboard and carries static and dynamic routing, DHCP server and relay, Adaptive Policy, AVC, NBAR2 and Encrypted Traffic Analytics.
All 48 ports are data only and the four 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks are built in, so the chassis has no network module slot and no PoE budget to plan around.
The C9300L-M family supports 320G physical stacking over a Type 3A cable from the C9300L-STAK-KIT2-M kit, and virtual stacking as well.
Application Scenarios
In a branch office, the switch connects desktops and printers on 48 Gigabit copper ports and sends traffic to the site router over SFP+ uplinks, with the whole closet operated from the Meraki Dashboard.
A campus or multi-site network that already runs its access layer from the Meraki Dashboard can add this switch for self-powered endpoints without a separate management system.
A closet that needs more copper density can stack this switch with other Catalyst 9300L-M units, adding 48 ports without taking on any PoE power-supply planning.

C9300L-48T-4X-M is the data-only Meraki model: C9300L-48P-4X-M has the same 48 ports and four 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks with PWR-C1-715WAC-P and 505W of default PoE+, so closets that power phones or access points need C9300L-48P-4X-M. C9300L-48T-4X-M is managed from the Meraki Dashboard under a Meraki Advanced or Enterprise term of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years, and the Dashboard recognises it only after that term license is bought. C9300L-48T-4X-A and C9300L-48T-4X-E use the same hardware under Network Advantage or Network Essentials with a Catalyst software order path, which suits sites that do not use the Meraki Dashboard.
Ordering Checklist
- Meraki term license: Order a Meraki Advanced or Enterprise term of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years separately from the switch. The Meraki Dashboard does not recognise the switch until the term license is purchased.
- Accessories: Select the stack kit, second power supply and power cords separately on a Meraki order. Nothing is added by default on a -M order, so a missing stack kit or cord is not caught by the configurator.
