C9300-24UX-A is the Network Advantage version of the 24-port 10G Multigigabit UPOE hardware that is also sold as C9300-24UX-E, so the license tier is the only thing between them. A closet that needs only Layer 2 and routed access, with OSPF up to 1,000 routes, can drop to C9300-24UX-E, but VRF, VXLAN, TrustSec, BGP or MACsec-256 on day one stay with C9300-24UX-A, and an installed Essentials switch is lifted later with a C9300-24-E-A-3, -5 or -7 term. Gigabit-only access that needs 830W of default PoE moves to C9300-24H-A, and data-only closets with no PoE use C9300-24T-A. A 48-port design with only 12 ports at 10G and 490W of default PoE is C9300-48UXM-A.
