The C9300X-24HX-E is a Cisco Catalyst 9300X Series stackable access switch for wiring closets that serve multigigabit endpoints with UPOE+ power. The switch has 24 10G multigigabit UPOE+ ports (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M), a modular uplink slot, 800 Gbps of switching capacity and a 735W PoE budget on the default PWR-C1-1100WAC-P supply. The -E suffix carries Network Essentials, which limits OSPF to 1,000 routes and leaves out BGP, VXLAN and MPLS.

  • Uplink module: Keep the default C9300X-NM-2C, choose C9300X-NM-8M or C9300X-NM-8Y, or select C9300X-NM-NONE. C9300X switches take only C9300X-NM modules, and the slot needs a module or a blank.
