The C9300L-24UXG-4X-A is a Cisco Catalyst 9300L Series fixed-uplink stackable access switch for floor closets that mix multigigabit access points with Gigabit phones and cameras. The switch has 8 multigigabit and 16 Gigabit Cisco UPOE copper ports, four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks, an 880W default PoE budget on the 1100W supply and 272 Gbps of switching capacity. The switch stacks over StackWise-320 and does not support StackPower.

Product Performance
Key Features
Eight ports negotiate 100M to 10G for access points and cameras that need more than 1G. The remaining sixteen ports cover phones and other devices at 10M to 1G.
The uplinks are built into the chassis and run at 10G or 1G. A modular uplink slot is not part of this platform, so the uplink type stays fixed.
One 1100W supply provides 880W of PoE. A 350W second supply raises the total to 1230W, and a 715W second supply to 1440W. A 1100W second supply stays at 1440W, the limit set by port count and port rating.
Every port can supply 60W of Cisco UPOE or IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 power. Running all 24 ports at 60W takes two 1100W supplies.
OSPF is not capped at 1,000 routes, and VRF, VXLAN, LISP, MPLS and MACsec-256 are included. The tier comes with the hardware license.
Stacking uses StackWise-320 at 320 Gbps with a stack kit. Catalyst 9300L switches do not support StackPower, so PoE capacity is planned per switch.
Application Scenarios
In a floor wiring closet, the switch powers Wi-Fi access points on its multigigabit ports and PoE cameras and IP phones on the Gigabit ports.
A campus access layer that terminates VRF-separated VLANs at the closet can use the Network Advantage feature set on this switch instead of pushing segmentation up to the distribution layer.
A closet that adds endpoints over time can join more Catalyst 9300L members to the same StackWise-320 ring and keep one management point.

C9300L-24UXG-4X-A mixes 8 mGig and 16 1G UPOE copper ports on four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks, and its 880W default PoE budget is the highest of the four models compared. Closets with more than 24 copper drops need C9300L-48UXG-4X-E, which has 12 mGig and 36 1G ports and 392 Gbps of switching capacity but ships with Network Essentials and 675W by default; moving it to Advantage takes a C9300L-LIC= term (C9300L-48-E-A-3, -5 or -7). Sites with only 1G PoE+ endpoints can use C9300L-48P-4X-A at 505W. A design that needs all 24 ports at mGig speed, a modular uplink or StackPower belongs on C9300-24UX-A, which cannot stack with fixed-uplink C9300L switches.

Ordering Checklist
- Subscription tier: Order a Network Advantage term: C9300L-DNA-A-24-xY (Cisco DNA) or C9300L-DNX-A-24-xY (Cisco Catalyst), with x = 3, 5 or 7. New orders require a subscription of the same tier as the built-in Network Advantage license, and the configurator defaults to Cisco DNA Advantage for 5 years.
- Second power supply: A second PWR-C1-1100WAC-P is selected by default; C9300L-SPS-NONE removes it. Without it PoE stays at the 880W single-supply level; 1440W needs a second supply.
- Stack kit: Choose C9300L-STACK-KIT (STACK-T3 cable) or C9300L-STACK-KIT2 (STACK-T3A cable), with a 50 cm, 1 m or 3 m cable. A C9300L stack kit holds two adapters and one cable, and the cable series must match the kit.
- Power cords: Select the cord type for the destination country; two cords ship and the default is North America. The wrong cord type does not fit the local outlet.
