No, the Catalyst 9300 Series uses StackWise-480 technology, which is not compatible with the StackWise-480 or StackWise-160 modules of the Catalyst 3850 Series. Stacking must be performed within the same Catalyst 9300 model family.

The Catalyst 9300 supports standard PoE (up to 30W per port), UPoE (up to 60W per port), and UPoE+ (up to 90W per port, on supported models). Actual power availability depends on the model and installed power supplies.

The maximum stacking bandwidth is up to 480 Gbps when using the StackWise-480 technology, allowing up to 8 switches to operate as a single logical unit for simplified management and increased redundancy.

The Catalyst 9300 Series supports Cisco DNA software licenses (Essentials, Advantage, Premier). Advanced features such as SD-Access, automation, and advanced security require at least the Advantage license level.
